Marina Gnetetsky, artist/illustrator/painter; earned her BFA in Decorative Arts at the College of Art and Design in Kiev (Ukraine, 1980), and her MFA in Illustration at the Ukrainian Academy of Fine and Communication Arts, Kiev (Ukraine, 1989) where she was trained in a classical/traditional style of painting and drawing in a variety of media. Her art works range from those in acrylic on canvas and paper, ink and pen, pencil, watercolors, as well as mixed media.

After settling in California in 1996, Marina successfully engaged in various professional/artistic fields further tuning her natural talent and passion. In 2001 she developed a recognizable poster for the First Festival of Russian Culture and Art, held in West Hollywood. Her art works have been a regular part of the group exhibitions in Ukraine, as well as in the Art Shows in Los Angeles and New York, like the group exhibition "Unity And Diversity: Russian-American Art" in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, CA (2004); the group exhibitions "Still Life","Portraits, Self-Portraits", "Salon", "Animal Kingdom", "SmallWorks" at Gallery 402 in Manhattan, NYC, at The New York Law School, St Francis College, NYC.
Currently one may see her artworks at a OIA Salon Show at Stovall Gallery, 8th floor, NYU-Kimmel Center, 60 Washington Square South, NYC.

Marina's most notable artworks can be found in private collections in the USA, Ukraine, Germany, Russia, Poland, and England. Noteworthy example is one of the urban landscapes now in the private collection of Uri Geller - the world famous and controversial psychic, mystic and entertainer.
